As part of growth of the Brand City Gold Chairman K A Abdul Kareem has been selected as the District President of Gold Merchant Association (AKGSMA) in the year 2006. The beginning of this Janakeeya Brand was aimed to serve the people from the initial period itself by focusing and upholding the customers and their surroundings not just only business but the same time they are very much keen on reaching out the neediest people surrounded with them by initiating CSR activities.
As part of their CSR initiative they had started functioning from the beginning itself by helping the underprivileged girls for their marriage functions. In the year 2003 the first of its kind mass wedding marriage function was organized for 10 underprivileged men and women and it was a beginning as well a new experience for the Kasaragod people. Not stopping here the Chairman and the team of City Gold was very keen on developing more Janakeeya growth in and around the Kasaragod.
As the Janakeeya Brand was more close to its customers and its vendors the expectation and commitments went on high, so the brand was well focused on its quality customer centric operation they continue the mass wedding functions during the years 2007, 2012, 2016 and as part of its 20 years celebration in the year 2020 conducted the marriage function in a very large way by inviting many special guest and involving their privileged customers and family members. An unexpected crowd of more than 5000 people were witness the function in a large scale. Apart from that the management was helping an underprivileged girl from the 1999 to till date. Every year it’s continuing by god’s grace.
